Working with my hands on a daily basis, makes them get dried and chapped. Which led me to try my hand at making hand balms/lotion bars. I was already making soap, so I thought; why not make some type of lotion? I settled on making hand balms/lotion bars. They are in a tin, small and compact, last a long time, and are more moisturizing for my dry hands than the lotion I buy at the store.

PROCESS/STORY:: The primary focus of my business has been Men’s, and Children’s Bow Ties. I really really really enjoy creating gift sets, and thinking outside of the box on what I can create for men. Right now, that has taken the shape of hand balms/lotion bars. I have some expansion ideas in the works, but wanted to start with offering hand balms for men. I started with Lavender lotion bars/hand balms, and have been receiving such positive feedback that I thought it was time to create something for the men in our lives. These make great gifts and stocking stuffers, and they fit nicely in the pocket.
